Healthcare built on listening, compassion, and a commitment to treating the whole person—because you deserve to feel seen, heard, and supported.
At New Day Health & Hormones, we believe healthcare should be personal, compassionate, and designed around you. Whether you’re navigating hormonal changes, managing chronic conditions, or seeking proactive care, we’re here to help you feel your best—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
We combine evidence-based primary care with the principles of integrative and functional medicine to address root causes, not just symptoms. Every patient receives focused time, personalized treatment plans, and care that evolves with you.
To restore hope, balance, and well-being through personalized, compassionate healthcare. At New Day Health & Hormones, we partner with each patient to deliver thoughtful, root-cause-focused care that honors your time, values your story, and empowers you to take charge of your health—physically, mentally, and hormonally.
New Day Health & Hormones was founded to bring heart and trust back to healthcare. After years in traditional medical systems, we saw too many patients fall through the cracks—rushed visits, band-aid solutions, and no time to truly listen.
We built this clinic to change that. Here, you’re not just a number. You’re a partner in your care.
Because your care should be as unique as you are!
We meet you where you are, and walk with you toward where you want to be—healthy, confident, and empowered.
We’re more than providers—we’re your partners in health.
Our team of experienced nurse practitioners and medical staff are passionate about helping you feel like yourself again. We combine clinical expertise with a personal approach to guide you toward lasting results.

Terrilee Jackel ARNP, FNP-BC (she/her/hers), is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in primary care, hormone therapy, and community health. Since 2014, she has been helping patients reclaim their energy, confidence, and well-being through education, empowerment, and evidence-based care.
After years of working within a healthcare system defined by rushed visits and reactive treatment, Terrilee founded New Day Health & Hormones to offer something different: compassionate, root-cause care that gives patients the time, attention, and tools they deserve. Her clinical approach blends traditional medicine with nutrition, lifestyle changes, and functional strategies for lasting results.
She is certified in Advanced Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy (ABHRT) through WorldLink Medical, a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (menopausesociety.org), and a member of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH). She has been prescribing hormone therapy since 2017 and brings specialized expertise in menopause, thyroid dysfunction, metabolic health, and sexual wellness.
Whether you're navigating perimenopause, recovering from burnout, or simply seeking a provider who listens—Terrilee is here to walk beside you with care, clarity, and hope.

Andrea Imes, ARNP, FNP-BC (she/her/hers), is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings a calm presence, thoughtful clinical reasoning, and genuine compassion to every patient interaction. She is the kind of clinician who listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, remains genuinely curious, connects the dots, and takes the time to truly understand the whole person—not just the symptoms that brought them through the door.
Andrea has been a registered nurse since 2011 and became a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2023. Her diverse clinical experience includes community health, addiction medicine, mental health, pediatrics, OB/GYN, sexual and reproductive healthcare, nutrition, and LGBTQ+ affirming care. She also has a special interest in nutrition and lifestyle medicine. Andrea embraces a predominantly whole-food, plant-based lifestyle herself and enjoys helping patients discover practical, sustainable ways nutrition can support long-term health, disease prevention, and overall well-being. These experiences have shaped her commitment to providing evidence-based, radically inclusive healthcare where every patient feels heard, respected, and valued.
She has developed a special passion for midlife women's health and is committed to helping women navigate perimenopause and menopause with clarity, education, and personalized care. Like the entire team at New Day Health & Hormones, Andrea believes women deserve to feel heard, supported, and empowered—not dismissed. She is passionate about combining the best available evidence with thoughtful clinical decision-making to help patients feel their best and make informed choices about their health.
Known for her clinical depth, critical thinking, and genuine kindness, Andrea is a strong advocate for her patients and believes healthcare works best when patients and providers work as partners.
As an "Army brat," Andrea lived in South Dakota, California, and the Netherlands before ultimately choosing to make Iowa her home. Outside the clinic, she's a devoted mom who enjoys weightlifting, cooking, traveling, gardening, and spending time outdoors with her family and friends.
We are incredibly proud to welcome Andrea to the New Day Health & Hormones team and know our patients will appreciate the compassion, expertise, and partnership she brings to every visit.
